28 Years Later is a 2025 post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Alex Garland.[1] It is the third film in the 28 Days Later franchise.

In January 2025, it was reported that Cillian Murphy would not return as Jim in 28 Years Later, but could return as the character in a future sequel.[4][5]
