B.C. Butcher is a 2016 American horror comedy film directed by Kansas Bowling. It is notable for being her directorial debut, which she made at the age of 17, and for its unique premise as "the first prehistoric slasher film."

The film was distributed by Troma Entertainment and is known for its low-budget, campy, and deliberately "B-movie" style. It was shot on 16mm film, a choice made by Bowling for its aesthetic quality.

Plot Summary

The story revolves around a tribe of cavewomen who are led by Neandra. When one of their own, Dina, is caught having an affair with the tribe leader's man, Rex, she is brutally killed and her body is left in the wilderness.

A prehistoric monster, known as "The Butcher," discovers Dina's body and, falling in love with her corpse, vows to avenge her death. The Butcher then begins to hunt down and kill the cavewomen responsible, one by one. The film also features a music video interlude by the band The Ugly Kids and narration by Kadeem Hardison.
