Benjamin Géza Affleck is an American actor and filmmaker. He portrayed Sheriff Bryce Hammond in Phantoms (1998).

Career[]

In 1997, Ben Affleck portrayed Chuckie Sullivan in Good Will Hunting (with Matt Damon and Robin Williams), a film he also worked on as a writer, and for which won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay – Written Directly for the Screen with Matt Damon, and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor. In 1998, he portrayed Sheriff Bryce Hammond in Phantoms (with Rose McGowan and Liev Schreiber), and A. J. Frost in Armageddon (with Bruce Willis, Steve Buscemi, William Fichtner, Owen Wilson, Michael Clarke Duncan, Peter Stormare, Keith David, and Jason Isaacs).

In 2003, he portrayed Matt Murdock / Daredevil in Daredevil (with Michael Clarke Duncan, David Keith, Mark Margolis, and Kane Hodder). In 2005, he reprised the role of Matt Murdock / Daredevil in the director's cut of Elektra (with Jason Isaacs).

In 2016, he portrayed Bruce Wayne / Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (with Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Patrick Wilson, and Carla Gugino), a role that he reprised later that year in Suicide Squad (with Will Smith, Scott Eastwood, and David Harbour). In 2017, he again reprised the role of Bruce Wayne / Batman in Justice League (with Henry Cavill, Amber Heard, Billy Crudup, and Willem Dafoe).

In 2021, Justice League received a new edit in Zack Snyder's Justice League (with Henry Cavill, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard, and Billy Crudup). In 2023, he made his most recent reprisal of the role of Bruce Wayne / Batman in The Flash (with Michael Keaton, George Clooney, and Nicolas Cage).
