There's something out there waiting for us, and it ain't no man... We're all gonna die.
Billy to the team

Billy Sole was played by Sonny Landham in Predator.

Biography Edit

Billy Sole was a member of Alan "Dutch" Schaefer's private military team, which was hired by the U.S. military and the CIA for a rescue mission in the Republic of Val Verde in 1987. He was their expert tracker, but he was also something of an outsider in Schaefer's team. He only had a closer relationship with Hawkins.

During the mission they found a team of masssacred elite American soldiers. They were Green Berets lead by Jim Hopper and, as an expert tracker, he still couldn´t understand what happened since it didn't fit with anything he knew before that.

After discovering that their mission was a set-up to dupe them into eliminating the rebels in the area, which they did and, if possible, find out what happened to Jim Hopper's team, which had disappeared, he and Schaefer's squad came into contact with a Predator that stalked and began to kill these elite mercenaries one-by-one. During this event he was the first one to sense his presence despite of the fact that he could not see it and was tremendously distressed because of it. Instinctively, he sensed that he was not human. He even embraced the probability of his own death and that of the team. Later he also described the killer as a hunter because of his actions after they found out that he took Blain's body, whom the Predator had killed the day before.

He died challenging the Predator after the Predator killed Dillon and Mac in hand-to-hand combat after a trap they all set up for him went wrong. He was armed only with his combat machete when he did that. After that the hunter removed his spine and skull out of his body in order to keep them as trophies.
