The Curse of Thorn is an ancient curse spoken of in the Halloween franchise and is the primary motivation behind serial killer Michael Myers' constant desire to kill off all members of his family for much of the series. The curse also appears to be the primary source of Myers' inhuman strength and immunity from death throughout much of the series, having been inflicted with the curse when he was a child. The symbol of Thorn (a line with a spike drawn to its side) appears as a tattoo on Michael's wrist, symbolizing the curse's hold on him. This however does not include H20 as that is a separate timeline from Halloween 4-6. It is a symbol of his anger and bloodthirst
