Danny Trejo (born May 16, 1944) is a Mexican-American actor from Los Angeles, California.
Biography[]
A repeat offender, Trejo has been recycled through the California prison system and has served time at San Quentin and Folsom on robbery and drug convictions. Trejo entered a twelve-step program for drug addiction and has since become a prolific actor in both films and television.
Known for usually playing villainous roles, he has become a favored actor of directors Robert Rodriguez and Rob Zombie. Trejo's early life is not too dissimilar to many of the characters that he plays.
He also earned a name in horror movies. His most well-known horror flicks include 3 From Hell, From Dusk To Dawn 1, 2 & 3, The Devil’s Rejects, and Rob Zombie’s Halloween.
