David was played by Roger Richman in the movie Piranha.
Biography[]
David and his girlfriend, Barbara Randolph went hiking through the woods and found an old, closed down military testing site, which included a large pool. They forbiddingly entered the restricted area and saw it all. Pushed by Barbara, they began to swim in the pool. After a short while David was bitten at one of his legs. He thought Barbara had bitten him, but in reality, it was a mutated piranha. Attracted by the blood, more piranha swarmed in and devoured him. They then killed Barbara shortly thereafter. Their deaths and screams cause Dr. Hoak to wake up and witness it all, when everything was over.
Their skeletons were found by Paul and Maggie, who, by draining the pool, caused the piranhas to fall into the river nearby, causing the deaths of many people until they were stopped by Paul and Maggie by poisoning the river.
