Dead of Night is a 1945 British anthology horror film starring Mervyn Jones, Michael Redgrave, and Googie Withers. It is often cited as the first anthology film although this is incorrect as it is only beaten by the 1924 film Waxwork.
Plot[]
An architect becomes a guest at a country house and begins to sense impending doom which his half-remembered recurring dream foretold. The guests begin to debate whether the supernatural exists and each take turns telling their experiences with it.
