Doug Bradley (born Douglas William Bradley; September 7, 1954) is a British film and television actor.
Since his school-time Bradley is a close friend of Clive Barker. In the seventies Bradley and Clive Barker founded the progressive theatre-group "Dog Company". While Barker wrote the scripts with his friend Peter Atkins (script-writer of several Hellraiser films), Bradley started acting. Bradley made it to the Hall Of Fame of movie-monsters with his role as the cenobite Pinhead who he played in all eight Hellraiser films.
Bradley first appeared as Pinhead in the 80's Clive Barker British horror film Hellraiser (1987). A year later, he had reprised his role of Pinhead and was given another role over-top of that; Capt. Elliot Spenser in Clive Barker and Tony Randel's Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988).
In 1992, Bradley had a lead in the third installment of the popular Hellraiser series; Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992). In that he reprised his roles of both Pinhead and Capt. Elliot Spenser.
In 1996, Bradley appeared as Pinhead in Kevin Yeagher's and Joe Chappell's action/horror film Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996).
In 2000, Bradley was offered the role of Pinhead in the first straight-to-video/DVD hellraiser film; Hellraiser: Inferno after American actor/comedian John Ritter dropped-out from playing Pinhead.
In 2002, he appeared as Pinhead (opposite to Dean Winters, William S. Taylor and Michael Rogers) in Rick Bota's straight-to-video/DVD horror film Hellraiser: Hellseeker, (the sixth film in the series) inwhich Bradley was also credited under the name of Charles Stead while playing as the Derelict.
In 2005, Bradley played as Pinhead in Rick Bota's straight-to-video/DVD horror film Hellraiser: Deader. In that same year, he portrayed as Pinhead for the eighth and final time in Rick Bota's straight-to-video/dvd horror film Hellraiser: Hellworld in which starred American film actor Lance Henriksen as The Host.
In 2009, he appeared as in the straight-to-dvd horror film Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes which starred Bob Gunter (from Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive) as Pumpkinhead and also starred Lance Henriksen (from James Cameron's Aliens, The Terminator, Man's Best Friend).
