Erin Harson was the main protagonist of the 2011 horror film that was called You're Next. She was portrayed by Sharni Vinson.
Biography[]
Erin was born and she was raised to the age of 15 on a survivalist compound with her father before she and her mother left to live in the U.S. While she was in the compound, she learned various survival skills that she exhibited regularly throughout the movie.
Erin and her boyfriend/ex-literature teacher named Crispian are invited to his parents' 35th wedding anniversary. Accompanied by the parents' other three children and their significant others, they tried to survive a group of animal masked killers who are wielding the axes, crossbows and machetes. Erin stepped up and she secured the house by herself by boarding the windows and doors up while also setting various deadly traps up and collecting weapons for everyone.
She killed the three masked assailants in different brutal ways. She killed the Tiger Mask killer by bludgeoning his head with a meat tenderizer. She used his axe to set a trap up in front of the door. After causing the Lamb Mask killer to step on a nail, she stabbed him through the skull with a steak knife by killing him as well. As she set the axe trap up, she fled to the basement to avoid the Fox Mask killer where she blinded him with a camera and she beat him to death with a wooden log. She made her way back upstairs where Felix and Zee (The family's two members) tried killing her with a crossbow through the window (They are previously known to hire the killers).
She dodged the crossbow and she hid in the kitchen where she got into a fight with them by eventually killing Felix with a blender to the head and Zee with a knife to the skull. Finally, Erin got a call from her boyfriend who previously left the house to look for help. Thinking that she was Felix, he revealed that he was in on the plan as well and when he confronted Erin, she stabbed him in the throat with a knife and in the eye with a screwdriver. A police officer saw this and he shot her in the shoulder as he did not know about the previous events. She tried to stop him from entering the house, but he did and the axe trap activated by killing the officer. In total, Erin killed 6 (Not including the officer) people and she was the only survivor of the massacre that occurred in the movie.
Erin survived her wounds and it was revealed that she was a primary suspect in the events that occurred at the house in the credits.
