Jason Carvey is a supporting antagonist of Scream VI.

He is a student of Professor Laura Crane, who conspired to kill her at a restaurant, becoming the first seen Ghostface killer in New York. However, he and his friend Greg were revealed to both be simple pawns for Detective Wayne Bailey. He was eventually lead by Wayne into a spot in which he was stabbed by Ghostface, Detective Wayne Bailey.

He is portrayed by Tony Revolori.

History

Jason Carvey was a collage student who learned at Laura Crane's class. He and his henchmen Greg were manipulated by Wayne into using his shrine and becoming two criminal outlaws, as Jason was told to kill Laura in his Ghostface identity and they were both tasked with finishing Richie's requel for Wayne.

Jason successfully murders Professor Laura Crane. When Laura was eating at a restaurant, Jason phoned her with a fake identity and asked her where she is so they can date each other. He doesn't find her at first, so he asks her to come into a quiet alley. She comes into the alley, and Jason quickly proceeds to change his voice to Ghostface, taunting her before jumping towards her and horrifically murdering her.

However, since Wayne wanted to kill both students due to their affiliation with Gale Weathers, he used the now deceased Greg's phone and continued manipulating Jason with his disguised Ghostface voice, playing with him warm cold and leading him to the door which Ethan opens before killing Jason brutally.

Trivia

• Tony Revolori had not previously watched any Scream films and joined the franchise after being convinced by Mason Gooding.
• He was technically the tenth revealed Ghostface however was not officially a killer. However, since he isn't part of Wayne's killing spree, he could either be considered as a previous Ghostface, or a decoy one, since he was merely a pawn for Wayne.
