Biography[]
Jorge Ramirez, better known as "Poncho", was a member of Alan "Dutch" Schaefer's private military team, which was hired by the U.S. military and the CIA for a rescue mission in the Republic of Val Verde in 1987. He was also an explosives expert who specialised in heavy ordinance. Finally he can also speak Spanish, which is essential in the place they all are.
After discovering that their mission was a set-up to dupe them into eliminating the rebels and their advisors in the area and find out what happened to another squad team, Schaefer's squad came into contact with a Predator that stalked and killed the elite mercenaries one-by-one and that also brutally murdered the missing squad.
As an expert in Spanish he translates the speaking of a female captive they caught there, when they try to find out what is going on and intend to find out about it through her. Later it turns out her name is Anna and that she pretended not knowing English.
When they later realised the hunter was not human and set up a trap to kill the Predator, the trap failed and he was wounded. Later, when the Predator returned again after this event, he was the the last person of the team to be killed by him.
After that only Anna and Dutch were alive. While Anna was able to inform the US military, Dutch later narrownly defeats the Predator exploiting a weakness he found out about him for that purpose.
