He is the brother of Megan. During the events surrounding the Blob he went to the cinema with his friend Eddie to see a horror movie in the town´s theatre against his parent´s wishes by smuggling themselves in with the help of Eddie's older brother who works there.
There the Blob attacked them, but he survived it after he and his friend were helped by his sister. They were able to save themselves by escaping using the sewers. Later Brian came to help them. However, his friend died during this event.
After that he witnessed how his sister and Brian defeated The Blob by blowing up a truck full of artificial snow.
