Piglet is the secondary antagonist of the 2023 British independent slasher film Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and its sequel Winnie the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 both written, directed, and coproduced by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and is loosely based on the character from the Winnie-the-Pooh book series by A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard.

In this adaption, Piglet alongside his closest friends Pooh, Owl, Rabbit and Tigger become barbaric serial killers after being abandoned by Christopher Robin, forcing them to devour their friend Eeyore. Piglet would assist Pooh in kidnapping, torturing and murdering anyone who enters Hundred Acre Woods.

He is portrayed by Chris Cordell in his first villainous role with Scottish comedian, actor and singer Eddy MacKenzie taking over the role in the sequel.

Biography[]

Piglet grew up in Hundred Acre Woods alongside his close friends Pooh Bear, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit and Owl and treated each other like family. One day, they are approached by a child named Christopher Robin who instantly bonded with them. Christopher would also bring food for them each time during his visits of which they've become accustomed to. Christopher would often spend time with everyone up until he reached adulthood and decided to leave Hundred Acre Woods to pursue medicine in college, leaving Piglet and the rest to fend for themselves. To the misfortune of Piglet and the rest, a harsh winter befell upon Hundred Acre Woods, hence making food scarce which starves them. Out of desperation, they devour Eeyore alive, traumatizing them in the process.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey[]

All of them would eventually develop an intense grudge against humanity and Christopher Robin for abandoning them - blaming him for their starvation which led to Eeyore's demise. As a result, Pooh and Piglet ultimately become serial killers to defend Hundred Acre Woods from human beings by kidnapping, torturing and murdering whoever enters the woods. Five years later, an adult Christopher Robin returns to Hundred Acre Woods with his fiancée Mary to pay his former friends a visit but are promptly ambushed by Pooh and Piglet and as a result, Mary is strangled to death by Piglet while Christopher is subdued and kidnapped by both him and Pooh and brought back to Pooh's treehouse to be tortured for abandoning them.

Christopher would be tortured viciously by them, mostly by Pooh who whips him in the back with Eeyore's severed tail and Piglet would continue to assist Pooh in killing or kidnapping various more victims who visit Hundred Acre Woods. Piglet would then personally ambush a newlywed couple named Charlene and Scott. Piglet kills Scott and brings Charlene to Pooh's treehouse where she is tortured. Unbeknownst to him, she is secretly plotting her revenge against him and Pooh for her husband's death. Several weeks later, a bunch of college students (Maria, Jessica, Alice, Zoe, Tina and Lara) rent out a cabin in Hundred Acre Woods to spend their semester break only for Pooh and Piglet to stalk them before ultimately deciding to kill them off one-by-one.

Tina was the first to be killed off by Pooh and when Lara decides to relax in the jacuzzi near the cabin, both him and Piglet decide to take the opportunity to kill her by subduing her, gagging and tying her up as Piglet holds her down, allowing Pooh to run her over with her car - crushing her head. They are soon discovered by Maria and Jessica, so they chase them into the cabin. Piglet attacks Alice and Zoe, knocking Alice unconscious and killing Zoe as Maria and Jessica hide and watch him and Pooh carry the unconscious Alice with them into the woods. Maria and Jessica sneakily follow them into the woods and into Pooh's treehouse where they free Christopher, Alice and the rest of the captives.

Charlene immediately calls out to Piglet for a fight to avenge her husband but is quickly subdued by Pooh who allows Piglet to kill her by mauling her face. Pooh immediately chases Maria and Jessica into the woods, leaving Alice and Piglet behind. As Piglet is mauling on Charlene's face, Alice bludgeons Piglet with his own sledgehammer. Pooh overhears Piglet's yowls of pain and rushes to his treehouse to rescue his closest friend. Thinking Piglet to be dead (Although he would later survive the hit), a distraught and enraged Pooh confronts Alice and kills her by impaling her to the wall with a knife, avenging Piglet as a result.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2[]

As the events of the first film are revealed to be a fictionalized movie based on Winnie the Pooh's killing spree, Piglet is alive in this film, suggesting he may have just been injured from Alice's attack.

After the crossbreeds existence is exposed, some believers arrive at the Hundred Acre Wood in order to hunt them. During this ambush Piglet is killed, although Pooh, Owl and Tigger survive and begin to target Ashdown. Owl survives the incursion, and brings the corpses of his friends back home in order for them to be revived and continue their mission to kill Christopher Robin.

Appearance[]

Piglet is an antropomorphic pig with pale pink skin and, like Pooh, Piglet has the appearance of a grown man, but he is slightly shorter than Pooh. Piglet wears an old, black, long-sleeved shirt and light blue pants. He also wears black shoes and black gloves, which are actually his hooves. However, unlike his mainstream counterpart, Piglet looks very similar to a wild pig/warthog instead of a domestic pig. He has four tusks on his mouth, two of them are big, and the other two are smaller and come out of his mouth, he also has brown eyes. He always carries a sledgehammer, and in some instances, he wears a chain around his neck.

Piglet's appearance in the sequel is more closer to an actual pig. With his tusks being removed and his ears being longer. He is also bigger in size and wears clothing similar to a butcher's uniform. He also has scarring on his forehead due to Alice attempting to murder him with his Hammer.

Personality[]

Much like Pooh, Piglet was once kind, friendly and soft but drastically changed after Eeyore's death at his hands and at the hands of his friends as well. Piglet became a savage, barbaric serial killer, mindlessly torturing and killing those he encounters in the woods. While Pooh is equally barbaric as him, unlike Piglet, Pooh displays a variety of emotions as well as being cold, calculating and presenting sadistic and theatrical tendencies when torturing his victims. Piglet is more stoic and animalistic - often killing and torturing without thought in blind rage, proving that he is more feral than Pooh.

However, despite being a mindless serial killer, he does care for his closest friend Pooh which is also reciprocated as their friendship remained genuine even after turning into serial killers. Much like Pooh, Rabbit, Tigger and Owl, he also feels remorse for devouring Eeyore alive which contributed to his intense, mindless rage and hatred towards Christopher Robin and humanity in general.
