Ryan Shoos was a main protagonist of the 2015 found footage supernatural horror film, The Gallows. He is a Beatrice High School football jock, who comes up with the plan to break in and sabotage the school's recreation of "The Gallows" on the eve of the play's revival.
He is portrayed by the actor of the same name.
Death[]
Ryan gets frustrated and begins taunting Charlie's spirit. After constantly calling out his name, he climbs a ladder leading to the vents. He reaches over to the vent, but is thrown off the ladder by a strong, unseen force (presumably Charlie's doing). Ryan's leg is badly broken as the group rushes to his aid.
Later, Charlie manages to isolate Ryan by locking him on center stage. After revealing himself to the latter, dressed as the Hangman, Charlie finishes him off by hanging him by a fly rig.
During the climax, Ryan's corpse is found by Reese and Pfeifer hanging from the auditorium rafters.
