She was the wife of the town manager Robbie Beals and, together they had a child. His name is Donny Beals. She had a good relationship with Molly Anderson and, before the storm began, she had decided to break with her husband in the spring and leave the island.
When André Linoge appears and commits the murders and other crimes in order to coerce the town to give him a child, she decided to play along with the demand of Linoge like the rest of the townspeople. However, only with the help of her husband she was able to fully participate in the selection of the one that should go with Linoge.
After the events regarding Linoge she could no longer divorce her husband and stayed with him instead. However, she also couldn´t bear to be with him knowing, also from Linoge, that he is corrupt, has a heartless streak and that he was with a hooker instead of being with his mother, when she was about to die. It was also something that in her heart she didn´t want either.
Years later she therefore commited suicide by taking one Monday morning a boat in the island in a place that belonged to her husband, going deep into the ocean and jumping right into it.
