Sasha is a main character and the deuteragonist of the survival horror film, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. She is portrayed by Corinne Foxx.
Biography[]
Sasha a popular girl at Modine International School for Girls in Mexico, where she's just moved with her unpopular step-sister, Mia. She decides to take Mia and her two friends (Alexa and Nicole) along to a fun getaway to a picturesque pool of water above a recently excavated cave, where her stepfather is working.
There they discover white sharks and they just do everything humanly possible to save themselves. During that struggle they lose their friends, her father and two other workers who were working there. Eventually, she reunites with Mia by following her in a strong current before the two find a narrow crevice that leads to the surface, in which they abandon their tanks to escape. Upon making it onto the boat, she is attacked by a shark then pulls in until Mia jumps back into the water with a flare gun and shoots the shark, saving her.
After that they receive medical attention by the boat's staff who tend to their wounds while Mia takes care of her. By the end of the film, Sasha is one of the only two remaining survivors, along with Mia and the two, because of the experience, have become very close.
