Shelley Alexis Duvall (July 7, 1949 – July 11, 2024) was an American actress, creator, and producer. She portrayed Wendy Torrance in The Shining (1980), Edith Butros in Tale of the Mummy (1998), Gabby in Casper Meets Wendy (1998), Mrs. Stein in Boltneck (1999), and Mama in The Forest Hills (2023). She also received a special thanks credit in Frankenweenie (2012).
In short films, she portrayed Susan Frankenstein in Frankenweenie (1984). In television, she portrayed Margaret in The Twilight Zone (1986), Ocka in Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (1997). She also created and executive produced Nightmare Classics (1986).
