Changes: The Mutilator (1984)

The Mutilator (originally titled Fall Break) is an American slasher film from 1984 written, directed and produced by Buddy Cooper, and co-written by John S. Douglass.

Plot

Mrs. Cooper is making a birthday cake for her husband Ed Sr., while her son Ed Jr. is polishing his father's rifles. Ed playfully aims with a rifle, but accidentally shoots his mother. Ed Sr. walks in fuming and starts hitting his son and scares him with his rifle.He takes his dead wife's body into his lounge room and he sits with it and has a drink, while Ed Jr. watches.

Years later. Ed is now in college with his friends. They're at a their local bar upset because they don't have any plans for Fall Break. Ed gets a call from his dad, asking him to close up their condo for the winter. His girlfriend Pam talks about Ed's accidental murder that "Drove his father crazy". Ed Sr. known as Big Ed,.is a hunter and hard on his wife and son. Ed says it will be a simple job so they decide to go there for Fall Break.

When they get there, they find the condo in a mess. Pam wants to report it to the authorities,but Ed says that cops aren't usually around and the beach patrol enforces the law. They go into Ed's father's trophy room with loads stuffed animal heads from Big Ed's hunting and his fishing gaff, but find his battle axe is missing. Below them, Big Ed is in the garage and he has dreams about killing his son. But he hides when two of Ed's friends, Mike and Linda, enter to have a look around, until they get called for dinner.

After dinner, Mike and Linda go for a walk on the beach, while the others play board games. Linda and Mike have been gone for quite a while and Pam starts to get worried, so they all head out to look for them.Mike and Linda find a pool, so they strip and dive in. They play a game of hide and seek, but Big Ed drowns Linda and steals Mike's clothes. Somehow, Mike doesn't notice any of this. He gets out of the pool and he thinks Linda is playing some sort of game. He ends up going into the garage and finds Linda's panties on a door. Thinking it's Linda, he opens the door to find Big Ed, who mutilates him a boat motor.

The others are still out on the beach. They find a cop named Ben who's patrolling the beach and they tell him somebody might of broken into the condo, so he looks around the house for a little while, but he gets stabbed and decapitated by Big Ed.

The others decide to go back to the condo and go into bed Jokester Ralph and his girlfriend Sue are making out, until Sue asks him to go look for Mike and Liinda. Ralph is reluctant at first, but Sue promises him with sex if he does, which gets him to go look for them. Ralph enters the garage and finds Linda's panties on a door. Thinking Linda and Mike are having sex, he opens it to Big Ed and he gets stabbed through the neck with gig.

Sue notices that Ralph has been away for to long, so she heads outside to look for him, but gets stalked by Big Ed. Pam and Ed wake up and find Sue. Pam wants to leave, but Sue insists to look for the others. They split up, but Sue instantly gets grabbed by Big Ed and he lays her down on work bench, he then hooks in the pelvis with the gaff and decapitates her with his battle axe.

Ed and Pam enter the garage to find all the dead bodies. They see Big Ed approaching them, so Ed hides Pam in a little closet and hides himself to attack his dad, but he gets knocked out and tied up. Before he gets killed, Pam breaks free and starts to attack him. She's able to stab Big Ed and cuts Ed Jr. free, but Big Ed gets back up. He attacks Ed Jr., but he gets some of his skin melted off by Pam and thrown off the car, then he gets cut in half when Pam rams the car into a brick wall, but he lives long enough to cut off a police offices leg.
