Vampire Journals is a 1997 horror film, that is interconnected to the Subspecies series. Ash (a vampire in this film) appeared in the fourth iteration of that saga, which was released a year later, but predated the events depicted in this film. Curiously, Decadent Evil is considered a spin off of Vampire Journals. This is due to a female vampire named Morella, referencing her time spent with Ash, before leaving his coven.
