Verna Sawyer-Carson, also known as Mother Sawyer (1928 - September 29, 2012), is the mother of Jedidiah Sawyer, Nubbins Sawyer, Chop top and Loretta Sawyer, and is the grandmother of Heather Miller.
Verna serves as the matriarch of the Sawyer Family, and was portrayed by Marilyn Burns in Texas Chainsaw 3D and Lili Taylor in Leatherface.
