Will Traeger was played by Sterling K. Brown in the movie The Predator. He was a secondary antagonist in the movie.

Biography

He was the head of the secret government project Stargazer, which has the mission to investigate and deal with Predators in secret and find out what they are up to on Earth. For this purpose he also has installations and uses them as a basis for his investigations.

When Quinn McKenna encountered the Fugitive Predator, Traeger tried to discredit him after interrogation in order to maintain the secret by attempting to send him to an asylum with others for that purpose. He also introduced Casey Bracket into the project when the Fugitive Predator was caught by him.

When the Fugitive Predator fled from his installations and Casey and Quinn, together with The Loonies, went after him, he ordered to murder them in order to maintain the secret. It failed. Additionally, Traeger kidnapped Rory McKenna as part of a plan to get into the ship of the Fugitive Predator, as he could understand the Yautja language, which caused a confrontation with Quinn McKenna during which he was able to free his child.

During a later battle with the upgraded Predator, in which they both had to fight together, he put on a Plasmacaster, despite not really knowing how to use it, and therefore accidentally shot himself in the head with it.

Quinn McKenna takes over the project after his death.
